Birthday Mochi

So my sister's boyfriend is a half-blood as well, although his family is legit Japanese-cultured (i believe his parents are both professors in Japanese at universities). So his mother (the Japanese one of the two) made my parents some fresh mochi for their birthdays. At least I think it was for their birthdays. It was for some special occasion. The point is, we had fresh homemade mochi that was handmade that morning. They even made the box and packaging and everything. My sister calls them a super family, because they're supposed to be pretty amazing. I think she's right.
